Eastern Power Wash and Sealcoat LLC is a locally owned and operated exterior cleaning, carpet steam cleaning, and driveway seal coating company. Our technicians are highly trained and dedicated professionals who take pride in their work. We use only proven, industry-accepted cleaning and seal coating practices. We provide residential services and serve towns and cities in New Haven and eastern Fairfield counties. Our services are professional and our results are outstanding!
We offer carpet deep steam cleaning. Carpets collect all sorts of soils over time, including dust, various soils tracked in from outside, pet hair and stains, and even oils and stains from cooking. Not only does this cause carpets to look unsightly, but they can create health and allergy issues. We use the hot water extraction method to steam-clean carpets. In this cleaning method, we apply carpet-safe detergents to your carpet and then extract them with all soils using our hot water extractor. This leaves your carpets with a deep clean and ensures they are healthy and safe for you and your family.
Is the siding on your home covered in black and green mold, mildew, and algae? Not only is this unsightly, but these organisms can also reduce the life of your siding and cause potential health issues for the home’s residents. Rather than using high-pressure water to remove these stains, we use a “soft wash” technique and employ professional, industry-standard chemicals to completely clean your home of organic growth. The chemicals are safe for homes with all types of siding.
Roofs are a vital part of the home and replacing them can be costly. This is why it is so important to keep it clean. Organic growth such as bacteria, mildew, and moss can not only make your roof look ugly, but these organisms actually feed off of the lime in asphalt shingles and reduce their life span. Our “soft wash” roof cleaning technique will remove these organic growths and stains, restore the beauty of the roof and add years back to its life!
Here is an excellent example of dirt and debris that have accumulated over the years on this roof, making it look worn and dated. After soft washing and cleaning the roof, we've been able to add years to the integrity and aesthetic. Making the house feel new again!
Even after removing mold and mildew from the exterior of the gutter, many still have oxidative black stains sometimes referred to as “tiger strips”. These are unsightly and slowly eat away at the paint on your gutters. We use specifically formulated chemicals to safely clean and remove these stains leaving gutters restored and looking beautiful again.
Mold and mildew are notorious for growing on decks and patios. They love concrete, stone pavers, wood, and even composite decking. Our deck and patio cleaning service will leave your deck or patio clean and looking like new again and ready for that backyard party!
Does your paver patio need a little more attention than just a cleaning? Perhaps the joints between stones need to be re-filled and the surface of the stone is faded and looking old. We offer a paver patio cleaning, restoration, and sealing service. We start with a thorough cleaning of the patio. Then we re-fill all joints with polymeric sand to help lock in and secure the stones. Finally, we apply a sealer to recoat the stones which helps protect them and restore their natural beauty.
We offer driveway sealing and hot crack fill repair for asphalt driveways. Sealing your asphalt driveway and repairing cracks is an essential part to extending the life of your driveway. Once a new driveway has fully cured, the elements begin to oxidize and weather your new pavement and the asphalt “cement” which holds it all together. Left untreated, it will eventually start to look faded and start to develop small cracks which will progress into larger ones. The best way to combat this is to periodically sealcoat your driveway. By doing so, you replace the lost layer of “cement” and help to maintain the structural integrity of the asphalt. Additionally, our pitch black asphalt emulsion sealcoat will bring back aesthetic beauty to your driveway!

With pressure washing, high water pressure is used to mechanically remove the dirt from the surface we are cleaning. We only use pressure washing to clean hard surfaces such as concrete or brick. We never use high pressure on house siding or roofs. Instead, the professional industry-accepted method to clean siding and roof is to use s soft wash technique. Here, we apply commercial-grade detergents along with various concentrations of sodium hypochlorite and allow the chemical to clean the surface. We then follow up with a low-pressure rinse.
It depends. In some instances, we are able to remove certain rust stains. This depends on the severity, the type of surface they are on, and how long they have been there. The black vertical “tiger stripes” on the exterior of gutters may also come either completely or partially clean depending on the severity and how long they have been there. We attempt to remove both with specialized chemicals and these services are generally at extra cost.
These spots are called artillery fungus and they are extremely difficult to remove. They do not come off with the chemicals which we use and there are no currently available chemicals that can remove them without potentially staining your siding. Our research shows that they might be removed with physical scrubbing using steel wool or even a Mr. Clean “magic eraser”, however, we do not provide these services.
We can pressure wash your painted wood deck, however, only loose paint will come off. Any remaining paint will have to be removed either by sanding or applying paint stripping chemicals and these are services that we do not offer.
These black streaks are caused by a bacteria called gloeocapsa magma. This bacteria feeds on the lime in your asphalt shingles and reduces the overall life of your roof. And yes, our roof washing techniques will completely kill and remove all of these bacteria.
Not necessarily. Our washing techniques are primarily designed to remove all organic growth. This includes algae, bacteria, mildew, mold, and moss, as well as general dirt and grime. However, other “oxidative” type stains on asphalt shingles or a home's siding will likely not come out. For example, white stain vinyl siding is caused by the wrong type of nails and will not come off.
Sodium hypochlorite will not damage your home's siding, roof windows, or any other hard surface. If used incorrectly, it may damage your greenery such as shrubs, flowers, and grass. However, our professionals take extreme care to prevent unwanted damage to your vegetation. We heavily rinse all vegetation with pure water both before and after washing to ensure all plants remain healthy and vibrant.
